Timothy Berry will be exhibiting works from the The Felix Culpa Suite, at Bates College in Lewiston, ME in the 2018 upcoming exhibition, "ANTHROPOGENIC: ART OF THE WORLD WE'VE CREATED."
This past June Tim completed a one-year project entitled, “The Felix Culpa Suite.” The project is comprised of ten individual mixed media paintings on paper, each representing presently one of the ten most endangered animals on earth. Each piece was created using a six layer approach moving from the hand to the digital and back—three of each approach total, beginning and ending with the hand.
This project was funded in part with a grant from the San Francisco Art Institute and was facilitated by the abundant skills and integrity of Magnolia Editions, Oakland, CA.
The suite will be presented this November at the Peninsula Museum of Art, Burlingame, CA. The painting are avaliable for online viewing here.
