Owned and operated by artist Timothy Berry since its conception in 1974, Teaberry Press has remained an unique printmaking workshop which has maintained the high quality of its collaborations and their resulting prints by its dedication to production only through the intaglio (etching) process.

After learning traditional intaglio techniques in Europe during his graduate studies and widely exhibiting his own prints, Berry moved to Chicago, where Teaberry Press was founded. The press was moved to its current location, the San Francisco Bay Area in 1977.

The intimate setting and studio atmosphere that has been a trademark of Teaberry Press over the years has attracted many major contemporary artists. The prints resulting from these collaborations always displaying the unique individually of each artist and their efforts.

The press continues its collaborations today, although in a much more limited capacity as an tangential part of Timothy Berry’s studio practice.

A retrospective exhibition consisting of sixty six Teaberry prints, organized by the Ewing Gallery of Art and Architecture at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville entitled: “The Intimate Collaboration, Prints From The Teaberry Press" traveled to nineteen public and private museums from 1991–2005. To this date the Press has produced over two hundred and fifty collaborative projects with forty five different contemporary artists.
